As you may or may not know one of my best friends got me on Rupaul's Drag Race (I mean on watching it) and I've been really inspired by the queens' makeup so I figured I'd start a fun series inspired by the queens. Now I'm only going to be doing my favorite queens from each season. If you don't see your favorite queen and want me to do a look let me know. I'm going to start chronologically by season and today's look is inspired by April Carrion. April is just so sweet and pretty, I wish we could've seen more of her on the show.
And this is my look...
Enough blabbering, tutorial time!
Products used:I applied Tarte Amazonian Clay Long Wear/12-Hour Blush in Empowered with my Sephora Collection Pro Mini Airbrush 55.5. I also applied Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Hippo to the high planes of my face.
As a base for my powder eyeshadows I applied the Makeup Forever Aquamatic in ME-54 and blended it out with my Bubbi Dual Cover Brush.
For the crease I applied Lorac Camel and Sepia along with Lorac Espresso and Black (Espresso more on the inside, Black going outwards) with my Sigma E40 Tapered Blending brush and Sigma E25 Blending Brush, respectively.
For the lid I applied Lorac White using my Bubbi Shader brush.
To highlight the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eye I applied Lorac White using my Bubbi Contour Eye Brush and Sigma E30 Pencil Brush, respectively.
For eyeliner, I went with Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. For the waterline I applied Bobbi Brown Retouching Face Pencil in Illuminate.
For the lower lashline, I applied Lorac Espresso and Black (like the crease, Espresso on the inside, Black is on the outside) using my Bubbi Detail Brush.
This is the look with mascara on sans false lashes.
For lips, I applied The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex Mango Seed Lip Care 01 Pomegranate and topped it off with Colourpop Lippie Stix in Ellarie.
