Review: Omved Mint Lip Balm

This was another product that I received in my January's blisscovered box. However, instead of deluxe samples and travel sizes as I got of other products, this one came in full size. So, yeayeeee for that! :)

Now coming to the review, I've been using it daily almost 3-4 times a day since past 2-3 weeks now. Check out the details below:

My experience with this lip balm

The moment I saw this lip balm I loved the cute round packaging of it, and you simply needs to twist the cap around and pull it up to see the product. The product looked like a thick "ghee" to me. In fact, when I rubbed my fingers on it, it did give a slight film on my fingers too. Alarmed, I smelled the product and thankfully it doesn't smell like ghee there. It is a transparent lip balm hence you can apply it beneath lipstick of any shade without altering its color. It smells faintly of mint, and the smell isn't very prominent. In fact, during the initial few days of usage, I had slight cold and I honestly couldn't smell anything from it. After few days of usage and a couple of deliberate trials, I could pick up some faint minty fragrance from it. It is absolutely tasteless and doesn't give any kind of cool mint feeling to the lips either. However it does moisturize my lips and keeps them hydrated. Also once applied, the balm feels quite light on my lips.

One of the drawbacks that I've felt from this balm is that it comes in a tub packaging. I hate to put my fingers in it to take the product out. Also, the moisturisation it gives to my lips, doesn't stay for more than 2-3 hours. I definitely feel the need to re-apply it again to avoid any dryness or chapping of my lips.

Overall, a good lipbalm made up of 100% natural products, and with the company being cruelty free, I'd certainly recommend you to give it a try.
