Birthdays? Not always so fun. There are bars with cover charges, memento mori, bad hangovers. But Beyoncé wishing you a happy birthday on your birthday? Based on Lizzo's reaction to this exact experience, it seems fun and cathartic.

On Monday, Lizzo's 32nd birthday, Beyoncé posted a picture of baby Lizzo with the message "HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIZZO" on her website. Lizzo responded the next day with an ecstatic Instagram post containing a selfie of her covering her smiling face with her hand (perhaps wiping away tears of joy?) and a message that reads, "YALL. @beyonce BEY YON SAY wished me a happy birthday BITCH ! I don't know how to ACT … She is my inspiration to be a singer after seeing destiny's child perform in the 5th grade."

Beyoncé Fans Think She Just Responded to Plastic Surgery Rumors - Papermag

Posted: 30 Apr 2020 05:04 PM PDT

As you've probably heard by now, Beyoncé gifted us with a next-level remix of Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage" yesterday. And while fans may have initially been fixated on the TikTok dances and her OnlyFans nod, they're now speculating that Bey also hit back at plastic surgery rumors via the track.

For a little context though, rumors about Beyoncé potentially getting her butt done began circulating earlier this year after the star posted a set of promotional photos for her Ivy Park x Adidas collaboration. From tweets calling out the supposed hypocrisy of the BeyHive to people saying they know a "[Brazilian butt lift] bum when I see it" — as well as a fair amount of defenders pointing out that she's had kids — there was no shortage of discussion on the topic.

That said, as BuzzFeed reports, it now appears as if many of these same fans believe that Beyoncé took a moment on the remix to refute said gossip. And the lyrics in questions?

"Big B and that B stand for bands / If you wanna see some real ass, baby, here's your chance," she rapped, before adding, "Texas up in this thang, put you up on this game / Ivy Park on my frame / If you don't jump to put jeans on, baby, you don't feel my pain."

Beyoncé herself has yet to confirm any of the speculation. But, in the meantime, you can take a look at what the BeyHive is saying, below.

Is Beyoncé Close to Bianca Lawson? - Showbiz Cheat Sheet

Posted: 30 Apr 2020 12:31 PM PDT

Beyoncé has been in the entertainment industry for well over two decades. The songstress stepped on to the scene in the late '90s with her hit R&B group Destiny's Child. From there, she has only soared. The Lemonade singer forged a powerhouse solo career for herself with 2003's Dangerously In Love, and the rest is history.

Though Queen Bey is one of the most visible people on the planet, she has managed to continue having a personal and private life outside of the spotlight. Though we've seen her out and about with her oldest daughter, Blue Ivy. Her almost 3-year-old twins, Sir and Rumi have rarely been seen. Likewise, the songstress has spoken openly about her love for her mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, sister, Solange Knowles, and husband, Jay-Z but she has still managed to keep some things to herself.

Still, Beyoncé and Solange aren't the only famous women in the Knowles/Carter/Lawson clan. The "Savage (Remix)" singer's step-sister is veteran actress Bianca Lawson. Here's what we know about their relationship.

Beyoncé's mom is married to Bianca Lawson's dad

Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson had known Bianca Lawson's dad, actor Richard Lawson for years, as she was best friends with his late sister. After the former hair and wardrobe stylist ended her 31-year marriage with Matthew Knowles, she and the Poltergeist actor reconnected.

"When I went through my divorce, I decided that I was going to pray this time for someone, then God sent me someone," Knowles-Lawson told Essence Magazine. "I prayed for the specific qualities I wanted in a man and I wasn't going to settle for anything less. I really didn't even know what I wanted, so you have to spend some time to try to find out what that is. Plus he's fine!"

Though the pair dated for some time, it was Knowles-Lawson's granddaughter, Blue Ivy Carter who finally encouraged them to tie the knot. "[In September] we went on a boat with Beyoncé and Jay-Z for her birthday, and when we came out one night dressed to go to dinner, Blue said, 'Oh, ya'll look beautiful. When are ya'll getting married?'" Knowles-Lawson told People in April 2015. "Richard said, 'Oh, Blue, soon. Do you approve?' And she said yes," Tina added. "That's the first time we talked seriously about getting married."

Bianca Lawson has an expansive Hollywood career

Both Knowles-Lawson and Richard Lawson have adult children. Actress Bianca Lawson who has starred in everything from Save the Last Dance to Queen Sugar and Dawson's Creek is the In Contempt actor's only child.

Known for her youthful appearance the 41-year old actress has been playing a teenager in Hollywood for well over 20 years. With countless titles on her filmography, Lawson might not be as well-known as Beyoncé but she's certainly recognizable.

InsideBeyoncé and Bianca Lawson's relationship

Like Beyoncé, the Sister, Sister actress is extremely private when it comes to her personal and private life. Though she's been in the spotlight for 25 years, Lawson has never been involved in a scandal. Though she's been spotted in family photos with Beyoncé, the Pretty Little Liars alum hasn't spoken about her relationship with the songstress.

However, we do know she's very close with Knowles-Lawson who refers to her as her bonus daughter. "She's so down to earth," Lawson said about her step-mom during an appearance on The Real. "You could just chat with her about anything all day long."

For her part, Knowles-Lawson often offers lovely compliments on Lawson's Instagram account, wishing her happy birthday or letting her know how proud she is.

They all seem like one big happy family.

What Is Beyoncé Really Like as a Mom? - Showbiz Cheat Sheet

Posted: 25 Apr 2020 02:25 PM PDT

Beyoncé may be a record-breaking pop star and one of the popular celebrities in the world, but she is a mother first and foremost.

Since giving birth to her daughter, Blue Ivy, in 2012, the singer has devoted much of her life to her kids — always ensuring that they're well taken care of and know how much she loves them.

Though the singer rarely offers glimpses or discusses her home life, there's no denying that she is a good mom and raises her family in a way that works for her.

Beyoncé is raising her kids outside of gender stereotypes

Throughout her career, Beyoncé has served as an exemplary role model for people from all walks of life. Many have found themselves turning to her whenever they've needed some empowerment through trying times and can always count on her songs to get them out of whatever funk they're in.

In addition to helping fans through difficult times, the Queen B has also used her platform to teach valuable lessons about self-worth and self-acceptance.

While she wants all of her fans to love the skin their in and be confident with who they are, these life lessons aren't only geared toward Beyoncé's loyal fan base.

Now that she's a mom, Beyoncé applies her lessons of self-acceptance to her parenting style and is teaches her three kids to be proud of who they are as individuals.

In her 2018 cover story for Vogue, the "Single Ladies" singer revealed that she's working hard to raise Blue Ivy, 8, and twins Sir and Rumi, 2, as free of societal expectations as possible.

When it comes to raising her two daughters, the Queen B is teaching them that there is no right way to be a woman and that the sky's the limit for them.

"As the mother of two girls, it's important to me that they see themselves too—in books, films, and on runways," she said. "It's important to me that they see themselves as CEOs, as bosses, and that they know they can write the script for their own lives—that they can speak their minds and they have no ceiling,"

As for her son, the singer wants him to grow up feeling masculine but is instilling in him the idea that it's ok for men to be in tune with their emotions.

"I want him to know that he can be strong and brave, but that he can also be sensitive and kind," Beyoncé shared. "I want my son to have a high emotional IQ where he is free to be caring, truthful, and honest. It's everything a woman wants in a man, and yet we don't teach it to our boys. I hope to teach my son not to fall victim to what the internet says he should be or how he should love."

She doesn't believe in physically disciplining her kids

Just like many other parents, Beyoncé has her own methods when it comes to disciplining her kids.

Though her children are young, the singer has ways of keeping them in order but does not resort to "spanking" as a form of discipline.

"No spankings," Beyoncé's mom Tina Knowles Lawson told Us Weekly August 2019. "Just really talking to the kids and reasoning with them. I can say, [she] pretty much has my parenting!"

The singer's raising her kids to feel 'normal'

Though Beyoncé and Jay-Z are two of the most successful musicians in the world, they've created a very grounded family life for themselves and their kids.

Instead of raising their little ones in the spotlight, the couple is adamant about keeping their family out of the public eye as much as possible to make sure their kids grow up feeling normal.

"She [Beyoncé] tries her best to keep life as normal for her children," a source told HollywoodLife in January 2019. "She was instrumental in choosing schools for Blue to attend and made sure to choose the most private school she could find so that Blue could just be a normal child in preschool like all children her age."

Although Bey and Jay's oldest daughter Blue Ivy is often seen enjoying the high life with her parents, the musicians still make sure that she has a normal upbringing.

The same goes for the couple's twins. As the toddlers grow up, the singer plans to keep her family's privacy tactics the same as she continues to raise them as normal as possible.

Beyoncé is one of the hardest working ladies in the industry, and yet, she still makes time for her family. Though her kids are still young, she's already teaching them that being themselves will never go out of style, and hopefully, by doing that, they'll grow up to be confident and fearless just like she is.
